How to keep my tennis strings from moving?
My mom has a head radical MP. When she plays the strings never move. I played with it, love it and the strings don't move. But, when i pick up my babolat aeropro gt my strings are all over the place. I did notice that her strings are tied off in 4 places mine only two. Is that the difference?
What type of tennis strings do you recommend for me?
Im looking for new tennis strings for the upcoming season in the fall. I don't like the feeling of the ball bouncing quickly off my strings, it seems like I will barely hit it and the ball will soar past the baseline. I like to be able to swing hard but still control my shot.I know some of you are going to say well dont string it as tight, I've tried that and it seems like it depends more on the type of string. My racquet is a prince exo red 105, 16x19 holes. recommended tension 58 5 lbsThe string I have now is just a generic brand that i dont like very much, im also open to hybrid stringing and can string my own racquetAny recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you all btw im 6 ft, 145 lbs. 17 yrs old. generally hit with a lot of topspin
Why does my tennis strings snap when im stringing the racquet?
I am using luxilon string at a 53 tension and it snaps in the middle. The snapping happens when im beginning to string the mains

Currently my strings are the following Mains Babolat VS Team Thermogut 17G 60lbsCrosses Babolat Pro Hurricane 17G58lbsI really want to make the step up to some awesome strings and get the black Babolat VS Touch BT7's. I wouldn't be stringing it myself, so I want to know if it's possible to string the crosses and mains at different tensions like I have now , even if you have the same string all around. Or if that would defeat the purpose because I'm not using different strings.Thanks for your answers Feel free to ask for any additional information.
Reasons for tennis strings to break?
I just broke the strings on my racket. I broke it by mis hitting the ball on one of my frustrated hard serves. It hit the strings near the top of the racket and it snapped at the grommet area. Are strings supposed to be broken like that or am i a just a noob for mis hitting the ball? I had my racket strung at around 58 60lbs Well i had it last strung around 7 months ago but because the weathers so bad here in UK, i didnt get to play much 4 a week till about 3 months ago. and i've only been improved enough to hit really hard in the last month or 2.

I'm looking forward to purchase a new tennis racket Wilson BLX Six One Junior . I need a good string that suits my style of play. I'm a net rusher but at the same time I'm a good base liner. In trying to know more about the types of strings I'm buying in terms of control, spin potential, power, and durability. Can somebody give me a rundown on the following types Polyester, natural gut, synthetic gut, multifilament, monofilament, and synthetic. Help would be greatly appreciated. Also I know that when stringing higher tension is for control and low tension is for power, but is a high or low tension good for spin?
